All is not lost. So the Springboks lost in Brisbane, does it really matter in the grand scheme of things? Maybe, they could have wrapped up the Tri Nations with a point; the fact of the matter is that they have not won there since 1993.
Let's face it the Boks were outplayed, no excuses. Slippery balls and bad refereeing were not to blame; the world champions were just not good enough on the day. If was not for 3 sensational try saving tackles the Boks could have been by a far greater margin. Let us not put a sugar coating on it and rather focus on this weekend's game.
A must win for the Boks and a chance for John Smit's team to show they have the BMT and can win big games on the road. Too much has been said about the Boks struggling to travel and that they miss the boerewors and pap too much, the onus is on them now to quash that ridiculous stigma and wrap up the bloody Tri Nations.
They are good enough and have been the best side in this year's Tri Nations - no doubt. They must forget about the Wallabies, who by the way are going to be the team to be apart from the Boks at the 2011 World Cup and wrap up the points we need to end or competition hoodoo. Let us not strive for one point or two, but all 4 on the day at a sold out Waikato Stadium in Hamilton.
