Why another Brazilian?

It boggles the mind why SAFA would turn to the man that deserted Bafana Bafana 18 months ago. The same guy who recommended Joel Santana as his replacement and who recently got fired from his coaching job in Brazil; Carlos Parreira might have won a World Cup, but is he really the man for the job? I don't think so, for me a local coach would have been perfect and someone who understands the local players. Gavin Hunt would have been my first choice with Clive Barker and Jomo Sono as technical advisors, but I am not a chief decision maker at SAFA. Clearly the leadership of South African football has not learnt their lesson. Let's hope Parreira is willing to consider Benni McCarthy and Nasief Morris for the upcoming friendlies against Japan and Jamaica, the team needs a victory and so does the Nation.
